GOVERNMENT CORRUPTION
The rot runs deeper than any single scandal.
Corruption in government is not a bug — it is a feature of systems designed to concentrate power. From local law enforcement to federal agencies, the pattern is consistent: public resources are redirected to private interests, oversight is dismantled from the inside, and whistleblowers are silenced, discredited, or destroyed.
The mechanisms are well-documented: regulatory capture turns watchdog agencies into shields for the industries they're supposed to police. Asset forfeiture laws allow law enforcement to seize property without conviction. Qualified immunity insulates officers from accountability. Each policy, taken alone, looks like an edge case. Together, they form a system.
Chris Lloyd has witnessed this firsthand. His music names the patterns, traces the money, and refuses to let the comfortable fiction of 'isolated bad actors' stand. The corruption is structural. The solution has to be too.
"They protect each other. That's not a theory — that's how the system was built."
